MARLOW AERIS RECALL RESOLVED

Marlow Ropes recently had a recent concern with a returned Aeris Arborist climbing with a splice. Once this was discovered in the interests of safety Marlow  recalled  the batches in question. We are pleased to announce that after carrying out a full and thorough  investigation  In line with CE standards and full EN1891 testing on the ropes returned  it was found that this was an isolated case.

We stress that this was a precautionary exercise, that not all batches of Aeris rope were affected and that this  issue only potentially affects the batches detailed.  No other spliced Marlow products including Gecko are affected.  This issue only affects the splice, the rope itself is unaffected and can continue to be used. Should anyone have any concerns about our Aeris rope then please contact us directly.

We apologise for this issue but confirm that remedial action has been taken to ensure no such problem occurs again.
